Two classes per week for at least 5 months as a Yellow Belt
Start two weeks before your belt testing.
Pick two days that are not karate class days to practice.
On your scheduled days, practice all of your kata 3 times in a row (about 7-10 minutes)
Do your best to do the moves correctly.
Show your friends and family your kata to build confidence.
Can perform Sanchin and Gekisai Ichi correctly, without assistance.

Point sparring (min 4 matches)
