Junior Karate is an age-appropriate program for kids in grades 1 to 8. The core classes run twice per week, each lesson is 45 minutes.
A typical class include the following activities:
Cardio and strength building exercises
Stretching and breathing
Karate kihon (basic technique)
Goju Kata (traditional forms) appropriate to their level
Physically distant sparring drills and bag work
As the students advance through the program, they will build on the skills that they developed as a beginner.
