Junior Karate

Junior Karate is an age-appropriate program for kids in grades 1 to 8.  The core classes run twice per week, each lesson is 45 minutes.


A typical class include the following activities:

  • Cardio and strength building exercises

  • Stretching and breathing

  • Karate kihon (basic technique)

  • Goju Kata (traditional forms) appropriate to their level

  • arring drills and bag work

As the students advance through the program, they will build on the skills that they developed as a beginner. Good attendance is important to maintain positive progression.

After the trial period, the student will be asked to make a minimum commitment of 4-5 months. A new uniform is included with your program registration fee.
